Green House is now open for member applications. We work just like a co work but for artists, activists and change makers to provide affordable space to create.

Join us at Green House!

Apply today if you already know the craic and can’t wait to jump right in. Don’t worry, we approve most applications but have decided on a community confirmation model to keep our existing members safe and to assure that those applying align with our values.

There are 4 levels of membership with short explanations on the link below but pop by, call or email us if you have any questions on what’s best for you. We are also open for tours Tuesday - Sunday if you would like to have a look inside. Just let us know before you come and we will be sure to have a team member available for you.

How does it work?

Our Green House building is set across three floors just two blocks from Victoria Sq and on the next block to St George’s Market. The space is used as a base for our direct aid projects and provides a place for our community events. Alongside our existing work to make things better in our city we started to welcome members at the start of 2024.

As artists and activists we have been members of and used many spaces to find community and connect with like minded people. We loved the spaces that we called home or were privileged enough to become members of but often couldn’t find the diverse, welcoming and inclusive group that we were searching for.

In our experience one of the main reasons that many creative communities can feel cold and isolating for their members is a consequence of a lack of shared spaces to connect with each other.

Green House is all share space and is designed just like a co work with all the amenities like desk space, WiFi and great coffee but with the added extras of a board room for big meetings, a dedicated ‘Werkroom’ for fabric based makers, a cosy members lounge to meet new folk, a podcast and photo studio, a makers lab for merch and product development and so much more!

As well as getting full use of all 3 floors members at Green House also get their pick of our shared equipment including a suite of Cricut products, laser printers up to A0, vinyl and fabric pattern cutters, sewing machines to name a few PLUS access to our craft store, a fabric bank and mini ‘Play Resource’ space filled with all the foam, card and recycled items sourced from industrial waste that’s great for workshops, mock ups and making with our community.
